Alicia Ferdinand, P. Geo. - President

Alicia Ferdinand is the President of Proven Reserves, an Executive Recruiting firm, exclusively focused on the mineral and mining industry.  She is a licensed Professional Geologist (P. Geo.) with over 20 years experience in the mining sector.  She is well-versed in various commodities, delineation and valuation of ore deposits and program management. In addition to her in-depth knowledge of operations and regulatory controls, she has extensive experience in the academic arena having authored curricula and taught an array of mineral industry courses. She also spent several years regulating Canada’s capital markets and regulatory agencies at the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC).

Alicia is heavily involved in the mining industry and its future as a board member of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (CIM), the Chair of the Mineral & Economics Society [CIM], sits on the Securities and the Human Resources Committees of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) and is a mentor through MiHR to university students.

Alicia holds a Bachelor’s of Geology from Rice University [Houston, Texas] and began a Master’s of Environmental Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan [Saskatoon, Saskatchewan] before working full-time in the mineral and mining industry. She is a former member of the Canadian Track and Field Team and played Division I Volleyball while attending university.

Kim Munro - Marketing and Research

Kim Munro is responsible for the Proven Reserve's marketing and research initiatives.  With over 20 years of experience in loyalty, direct and database marketing, Kim he has been involved in all aspects of the marketing process from initial project development to scheduling, design, copywriting, production, launch and response analysis.  Her ability to turn data and research information into effective business strategies has helped many of her clients to acquire new customers, influence their behaviour, retain both customers and employees, more effectively manage their brand and effect change within their organizations.

Kim holds a Bachelor's degree in French and Political Science from the University of Western Ontario.  She is fluent in English and French and also studied Spanish for 5 years.
